Port Interiors Restored DeHavilland Beaver C-GUPM Wins Silver at Oshkosh

Port Interiors is honored to have been entrusted with the restoration of the iconic Canadian legend; the De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver, C-GUPM.  Mike Potter of Sussex Capital selected Port Interiors to renew this legendary workhorse, arguably making it better than new and then flying it across the continent to attend the world famous Oshkosh airshow.

Special thanks to all who collaborated to make this project a success:

  • Mike Potter – Aircraft Owner
  • Diane Cramphin – Materials Selection and Interior Design
  • Dave O’Malley – Paint Scheme Design
  • Maxcraft  – Avionics
  • Seair – Aircraft Maintenance

The judging panels at Oshkosh have seen the very best examples of aviation in the world and we are honored that C-GUPM was awarded the Silver Lindy Award in the Seaplane category this year.

Take a look at some of the photos below and let us know what you think.
